Sometimes you gotta do the work. Feelings. We all have them, but few of us actually allow ourselves to feel them. Catharsis is one of the greatest healers. Getting close enough to your feelings so that you can release them can be challenging. But when you have a safe place and someone to help guide you through it, then catharsis can happen naturally.

Bricruiu’s Feast or The War of Words of the Women of Ulster

When he arrived at Emain Macha, Bricriu invited Conchobor and the whole company to his feast.

“I am willing to go,” said Conchobor, “if the men of Ulster are willing.”

“We will not go, ” said Fergus and the others. “For if we do, the dead will number more than the living, as it is likely Bricriu intends to set us quarreling with each other.”

“Well, if you refuse to go,” said Bricriu, “I will stir up anger between kings and chiefs, champions and wariors.”

“We will not go to avoid that,” said Conchobor.

“I will set father against son,” said Bricriu.

“We will not go to avoid that,” said Conchobor.

“I will set mother against daughter,” said Bricriu, “and the breast of woman beating against the breast of woman.”

“Then it would be better for us to go!” said Fergus; “but first let us consult together.”

So they gathered together, and Sencha the Druid advised them what they should do. ”Put eight swordsmen around Bricriu,” he said, “who will make him leave the house the moment he has laid out his feast.”

George and the Jungle

“George and the Jungle” is a punk band from the ’80s that Mahee Man used to be in. His name is actually Craig and he played drums. Pete was on bass and George on vocals and guitar.

After all these years Craig has managed to save some of the original artwork from the posters made for gigs. The artwork is that of Scott Williams, a renowned stencil artist.

Craig had this idea to scan the art and put it on t-shirts. Scott agreed. So we made up a cafepress.com store for the artwork.
